MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Michael Redd had 36 points and nine
assists as the Milwaukee Bucks had just enough to defeat the New
York Knicks, 119-115, in overtime on Tuesday.

Reserve Bobby Simmons scored a season-high 24 points - including
six in OT - and Andrew Bogut had 24 and 13 rebounds for
Milwaukee, which snapped a four-game losing streak.

After scoring a season-low seven points on Friday night in
Orlando, Redd bounced back with 33 points on Saturday against
the Chicago Bulls and 36 against New York. A 2004 All-Star,
Redd now has tallied 30-plus points in 11 games this season.

"We did some wonderful things tonight. This team kept working
hard and remained professional," Redd said. "That's what we do,
we kept fighting."

However, it was Simmons who came up big in fourth quarter with
11 points before his half dozen in the extra period helped put
the game away.

"It was a complete game from start to finish," Simmons said.
"We still had energy in the fourth quarter and that carried over
into overtime. Personally, I live for these situations, I'm
capable of making those shots."

After Simmons' fast-break layup gave Milwaukee a 109-107 lead
with 1.8 seconds remaining, the Knicks' Quentin Richardson was
fouled with one tick on the clock by rookie Ramon Sessions
behind the 3-point line. But Richardson converted just two of
the three free throws to send the game into overtime.

"I'm a rookie, I'm not going to get that call," Sessions said.
"I was just glad (Richardson) bailed me out and missed that
first one."

In the extra period, New York ran out of steam, scoring just six
points as Milwaukee was able to pull away behind Simmons' hot
hand.

"I think at the end of the game we definitely took some quick
shots and had a couple of turnovers that we definitely shouldn't
have had," Knicks coach Isiah Thomas said. "I thought
Milwaukee did a good job of exploiting our inexperience."

Bogut returned after missing the previous two games with a nasal
fracture for Milwaukee, which shot 49 percent (45-of-92). The
third-year center extended his career-high double-double total
to a team-leading 33.

"It's huge to have the heart of our team back," Bucks coach
Larry Krystkowiak said. "I was really proud of him tonight with
that situation that he's in the midst of (nose injury). He
wants to play and continue to improve."

Richardson scored 22 points and Zach Randolph chipped in 19 and
10 rebounds for the Knicks. Jamal Crawford also scored 19
points for New York, which shot 48 percent (47-of-98) but lost
for the first time in five games to Milwaukee.

"It's always tough when you don't win games and don't meet
expectations that you had," Richardson said. "We just have to
keep playing hard every game and just try and win."

The Knicks have lost three straight games and are just 2-15 in
their last 17 contests.
