Foye's 32 points carry Timberwolves past Bucks
MINNESOTA 110, MILWAUKEE 101 (OT)

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Randy Foye scored 32 points to lead
five others in double figures as the Minnesota Timberwolves
posted a 110-101 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in
Wednesday's season finale for both teams.

Ryan Gomes had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Al Jefferson added
13 and 11 for the Timberwolves, who finished the season at 22-60
in their first full season under coach Randy Wittman.

"That's what it's about, finishing the season up," Gomes said.
"We were able to finish it out and finish some shots in the
fourth quarter, and we came out with a win and end the season on
a high note."

Tied at 94-94 in regulation, Minnesota had an opportunity to
pull it out, but Rashad McCants misfired on a fast-break layup
with just seconds left to force overtime.

In the extra session, the Timberwolves continued their offensive
attack behind a 9-3 run which was capped by Foye's 3-pointers
at the 2:41 mark. Foye had 10 points in overtime.

"It was fun, though, both teams out there competing." Foye said
of playing OT. "I had fun out there, what's another five
minutes, and that's when I went off."

Rookie Ramon Sessions dazzled once again with 25 points and 14
assists and former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Bogut collected 24
and 15 boards for his 38th double-double of the season for the
Bucks, who fell to 7-34 away from the Bradley Center.

"It's a negative exclamation point on a season," Bucks coach
Larry Krystkowiak said. "It would have been nice to walk out of
here with a smile, but such is life."

Sessions, who spent mostly the entire season in the D-League,
handed out a rookie-record 24 assists in Monday's 16-point loss
to Chicago.

"It was really a bright spot," Krystkowiak said. "Certainly,
going down the stretch, it's given (Sessions) a lot of
confidence and should propel him into a better situation, I
think, in our league."
