Miles McBride Over 8.5 Points (-136)
Risking 1.36u to win 1uSurprised this is still at 8.5. Everything went as expected for the Knicks rotation in Game 5. Without Bojan Bogdanovic, they rolled with a 7-man unit with Mitchell Robinson and McBride as the only subs. Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein are splitting the center minutes, which basically leaves 5 guys for 4 spots. So whenever one of Brunson/DiVincenzo/Hart/Anunoby is on the bench, McBride is in the game.
McBride finished with 33 minutes in Game 5. He played the entire OT period but didn't record an offensive stat aside from a missed 3-pointer at the buzzer. So he posted 14 points in 28 regulation minutes. He's now averaging 16 points per game when he's played 27+ minutes in this series (3 games).
Unless Tom Thibodeau is going to dust off Alec Burks or Shake Milton, McBride basically has to play minutes in the high-20s. He's been better than DiVincenzo, so there's upside for even more minutes. And if Thibodeau goes with Anunoby at center, then all the guards will be out there. Again, more upside for minutes. Love the role for McBride.
