Connecticut Sports Betting
Legal online sports betting has finally made its way to the Constitution State!
On October 19th, 2021, Connecticut online sports betting became a reality. The launch of three legal online sportsbooks in the state was the end result of the activity being formally legalized in May 2021.
Connecticut’s path to legalizing sports betting was unique, but in the end, the state’s bettors get three sportsbooks to choose from and the state’s two influential tribes and the state lottery each get sportsbook licenses.
Connecticut has already been a popular destination for regulated gaming at brick & mortar establishments, but now sports betting fans can seamlessly register for an online account legally and begin placing their sports bets!
What does the legal Connecticut online sports betting atmosphere look like? Will there only be three licenses going forward? What requirements and conditions must sports bettors within the southern New England state meet in order to legally sign-up for an online sports betting account?
Below are the answers to these questions and more.
