Free Expert Best Bets For Wednesday
Nikola Vucevic Over 38.5 Points, Rebounds + Assists
- Current Odds: -110 on Caesars
With DeRozan out tonight, a lot of people are going to want to head to LaVine for their props. And while I wouldn’t talk anyone out of that, I’m siding with Vuc here. In the four games this season without DDR, Vuc has averaged 26.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists (I’ll do the math for you: 43.9 PRA). What I love the most here though is the matchup against a Pacers team that gets carved up inside, allowing the third most points per game in the paint. On top of that, they have two of their better defensive bigs, Myles Turner and Daniel Theis, listed as questionable (Turner missed last game). I like Vucevic to have a huge game tonight and am easily siding with the over here. – Andy Means (meansy53)
James Harden Under 10.5 Assists
- Current Odds: -137 on Caesars
Across the last month of action, the Cleveland Cavaliers are allowing the fewest opponent assists per game of any team in the league. In seven road games in that span, they are allowing the second-fewest assists per game of any team in the NBA. According to props.cash, Harden has eclipsed this market number in 11 of 22 home games overall this season, but only six times in his last 15 home contests. Across his last 10 games overall, Harden is averaging only 14.6 potential assists per game, which is nowhere near enough volume to record double-digit assists on a consistent basis. Nobody likes to bet the under on anything related to elite players, but the math overwhelmingly favors less than 11 assists from Harden on Wednesday. – Nick (The Commish)
Jeremy Sochan Under 6.5 Rebounds
- Current Odds: -120 on BetMGM
This is just a bad overall line by DraftKings and BetMGM. Most other sites are moving heavily toward the under, while RG projections currently have Socahn projected for just 5.33 rebounds in this spot. Sochan has hit the under in six of the last nine games, while averaging right around five across the last month and a half. While this matchup is pretty solid, this number is still probably a full board too high. – Grant Neiffer (gneiffer07)
Jimmy Butler Over 6.5 Rebounds
- Current Odds: +105 on FanDuel
Butler averages .25 rebounds per minute this season across a decent sample size without Herro, Lowry and Oladipo on the court. RotoGrinders has Butler projected for 33 minutes, so he’d theoretically average 8.25 rebounds under those circumstances. I toggled with these numbers across the past two seasons, and also while Butler had shared court time with Bam, thinking there’d be a dip in production. There wasn’t, he still eclipsed this number by a decent margin. This is good value at plus money, while RG projections also have him hitting this over. – Justin Carlucci (TheLuuch)
