Free NBA Player Props Picks
- Myles Turner over 12.5 Points (-125, FanDuel)
I considered going over the rebound prop also, but I am concerned that Jaylen Smith might be the guy picking up the cheap rebounds under the basket. Myles Turner is projected to play 32 minutes in this game, and now that he doesn’t have to share the court with Domantas Sabonis, he should be in line for many more shots. Turner should be able to stretch the ball against Porzingis and has the athleticism to beat him off the dribble and the pivot game to handle him on the interior.
- Saddiq Bey over 17.5 Points (-115, PointsBet)
With no more Jerami Grant to take up much of the usage, and Marvin Bagley on the shelf with an injury, it appears that Bey will be the number two option on the offensive end behind Cade Cunningham. The Magic really struggled on the defensive end of the court last season. They will also be starting off the year without Jonathan Isaac, who just can’t seem to get healthy. That will hurt their defensive efficiency for the time being. Last year, Bey averaged 14 shots per game. If Bey plays the 33 minutes that he is projected for tonight, he shouldn’t have any issue getting over this total against the Magic.

- Oliver Bjorkstrand over 2.5 Shots on goal (-110, DraftKings)
Oliver Bjorkstrand might not be a household name, but he is tailor-made for the shot-prop market. He doesn’t play on a particularly good team, but he is what is known as a volume shooter. Bjorkstrand is also on the team’s top power-play unit. The Blues aren’t the best matchup, but playing at even strength, in addition to the power play with Alex Wennberg is just going to boost his already high shot rates. Wennberg is a pass-first center who never has interest in shooting. I suspect that the O’Reilly line will be matched against the top line of the Kraken, which should leave Bjorkstand with some easier matchups to get shot opportunities.
