Odds & Ends (3/7/22): Noto’s $20K DFS Win, Liam Rolls Through MMA
Our ScoresAndOdds Expert, Derek Farnsworth (a.k.a. Notorious), took down $20,000 in a PGA DFS tournament on DraftKings this weekend.
There aren’t many people, if any, that work harder than Notorious in the daily fantasy sports industry.
It was fantastic to see him finish second in a large-field GPP contest on DraftKings this weekend, collecting $20K after Sunday’s final round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Notorious, a daily fantasy sports OG at RotoGrinders, has been providing exceptional research and analysis for many years.
Noto and Justin Van Zuiden (stlcardinals84) host a weekly PGA show called “Drive For Show, DFS For Dough,” which is a must-watch during your DFS or betting research.
Notorious also drops premium PGA betting picks on ScoresAndOdds.
In fact, Farnsworth wasted zero time this year, hitting a Scottie Scheffler outright a few weeks ago!
If you play DFS, odds are high that you’re obsessive with scoreboard and live-scoring watching.
That’s not the case for Noto, he said, so maybe I’m a little bit crazy.
“I am unlike most, in that I only check where I’m at before each round starts,” Derek said.
“I knew who I was rooting for (on Sunday) and thought I had a good chance to finish in the top-10.
“It’s a bizarre way of doing it, but it keeps the sweat alive to the very end, so I was sweating every shot down the stretch, having no idea where I was.”
In addition to shows and streams, Noto and our PGA analysts offer a wide variety of content each week at RotoGrinders.
Van Zuiden and Joe Cistaro will continue to drop FREE in-depth PGA betting analysis right here on ScoresAndOdds to gear up for THE PLAYERS Championship this week.
Liam Knocks Out UFC Again
Our MMA expert Liam Heslin (a.k.a. LiamPicksFights) added another profitable MMA weekend to his resume.
Liam gained 2.95 units on Saturday, and is now +12.48u across the last four weeks.
That’s it for Monday, enjoy the rest of your day, and stay tuned for more great FREE PGA content this week on ScoresAndOdds.
