Odds & Ends: (3/3/22): NCAAB Heating Up, Free Same Game Parlay
The ScoresAndOdds team is ready to rock-and-roll into March Madness, while Thursday presents an opportunity for a same game parlay bet.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
For college basketball enthusiasts and fans of those who make it into the big dance, anyway.
The regular season is winding down, while our NCAAB experts have the pedal to the floor, offering many daily premium picks.
Alex Hardin, Erik Beimfohr and Jon Schiller have been putting in the work this season. The trio dropped 7 picks for Thursday’s NCAAB games.
- Over the last two weeks, Hardin is 16-7, up over six units in NCAAB picks.
- Across the last three weeks, Beimfohr is 18-12-1, +5.45 units.
- Schiller is +2.96u, via 43 bets over the last three weeks.
Gearing up for conference tournament week and the big dance, Beimfohr said there’s an opportunity for many teams to cut down the nets and celebrate when the smoke clears in April.
“What I’m personally looking forward to in the conference tournaments is the low-major tournaments – there are low-major teams that, in my opinion, can make some real noise in the tournament, but most won’t get an at-large, so they absolutely have to win their conference tournament,” Beimfohr said.
“Outside of only a couple top teams, I think it’s crazy wide open this year, so I want to see some of those really good low/mid majors get in.”
Free NBA Same Game Parlay For Thursday
There’s a matchup between two hoops teams, with a whopping game total, that I think can be taken advantage of – if it’s competitive.
Sacramento Kings @ San Antonio Spurs
Both the Kings and Spurs are feeling the ripple effects of respective trades that both rebuilding organizations made earlier this month.
- Spurs Moneyline
I’m favoring the Spurs to win this game, at a fast pace, while scoring in bunches. According to our odds page,
- Dejounte Murray 10+ Assists
As written in my Dejounte Murray premium assists blurb, his potential assists and (actual) assists have gone up across his last 10 games and there shouldn’t be much resistance form the Kings’ atrocious defense.
- Doug McDermott Over 1.5 three-pointers made
McDermot has hit at least one three-pointer in 11 of his last 15 games, while Poeltl is the interesting person of interest here. He’s been on a recent tear, rebounding the snot out of the basketball across his last three games, posting consecutive usage rates of over 20% (which is high for him), and logging HEAVY minutes. Poeltl is averaging 21 ppg & 12 rebounds during this tiny sample size, all coming after the all-star break, which is why I’m willing to give it some credibility.
- Jakob Poeltl 8+ Rebounds
The Kings are so bad, and play fast, I can’t stress that enough, which is why we are spearheading the overs only club in this one on the Spurs’ side. I also considered Dejoute Murray or De’Aaron Fox under 1.5 three-pointers each, but i stuck with the overs theme for this one.
- Jakob Poeltl 15+ Points
You know what you’re signing up for when trying to cover a handful of legs, it’s always a risk. But let’s ride and hope for a ton of points in a competitive game!
That’s it for Thursday. Best of luck and may the Scores And Odds be in your favor!
