Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to this new article for ScoresAndOdds, where we will offer betting picks and advice for multiple sports that are happening on a given day.

Now that the NFL season has unfortunately come to an end, we will be focusing on NHL odds and NBA odds and props. We will also be throwing in some traditional parlays and some same game parlays as we see fit.

Montreal Canadiens @ Winnipeg Jets

The Canadiens have won five games in a row and look like a completely different team since Martin St. Louis took over as the head coach.  His team looks very confident on both ends of the ice. 

While I watch their games, I’ve noticed a much slower style, focusing on puck control and not allowing much open ice in the neutral zone, which cuts down on the odd-man attacks. 

They will need to continue that style to hold the much more talented Jets team in check tonight.

Although the Jets have more firepower, they are an aging club, and have had issues finishing their chances all season. 

I assume it will be Montembeault vs Hellebuyck this evening which bodes well for this under bet.

Calgary Flames @ Minnesota Wild

These two teams just met in Calgary and the Flames absolutely dominated the Wild, winning the game 7-3. 

Obviously, going on the road into a hostile environment is not the best place to find winning bets.

However, I think the Flames are a top-3 team in all of hockey.  They have the depth pieces to counter any kind of shutdown line that the Wild throw at their top six. 

Up-and-down the lineup, the Flames have solid players and by far the better goaltending in this matchup.

Talbot has already been announced as the starter for the Wild today.  He has lost three-straight starts and has given up no fewer than four goals in those starts. 

This is not the matchup to get right when your confidence is shaken.  I’ll be wagering more than one unit on this play. .  

Free NBA Betting Picks for Today

 Brooklyn Nets @ Toronto Raptors

These two teams played last night and the Raptors absolutely blew the doors off this Nets squad. 

Now these teams fly to Toronto and I am going to go right back to the Raptors in this game. 

Canada has the same vaccination rules as Brooklyn, so Kyrie Irving can’t suit for this game either. 

That is a massive blow to this banged-up Nets team. 

Additionally, Steve Nash entered health and safety protocols before last night’s game and won’t be traveling to Toronto. 

Although I am not a fan of Nash as a coach, this does not bode well for a team that is already in free fall. 

Fred VanVleet did not play last night and is considered questionable for tonight’s game. 

I am not sure how to project him this evening, but in terms of this bet, I like the -8 line, regardless of his status.  

Dallas Mavericks @ Los Angeles Lakers

It appears as if I am going to be against the grain on this pick, with 75% of the money going on the Mavericks in this one. 

It’s true, the Lakers are in disarray in every aspect of their organization. 

After being booed off the court in their last matchup, I think LeBron James comes out with a big performance against Luka Doncic and company on national TV. 

The Mavericks are a slow-paced team, who are stout defensively and well coached. 

I think that slow style helps the Lakers, due to the fact that they can’t be exploited as heavily on the defensive end of the court.

Now I am not saying the Lakers can contain Luka (nobody can), but I do think the Lakers can keep this close throughout and could possibly win outright.

I don’t see the Lakers being embarrassed again take the points in this one and sprinkle a little bit on the moneyline.
